Coach Paul Pasqualoni has more than 30 years of experience coaching at both college and professional levels. He was named head football coach at the University of Connecticut in January 2011. Having just completed his 20th year of coaching in the college ranks, his wins at UCONN make him the winningest coach in Big East history.
During his 14 years as head coach at Syracuse, he led the Orange to four BIG EAST conference titles and nine bowl games, while developing a tremendous contingent of professional players. Under his guidance, Syracuse had at least two NFL draft selections in 11 of the 14 years Coach Pasqualoni was at the helm.
Before taking the Connecticut position, Pasqualoni had been coaching in the National Football League as a member of the Dallas Cowboys staff (2005-07 and 2010) and the Miami Dolphins (2008-09).
As defensive coordinator of the Dolphins in 2009, his defense led the NFL in sacks per pass attempt and the 2008 Dolphins were the AFC East Champions. While on the Dallas staff, the Cowboys won the NFC East in 2007 and earned a Wild Card playoff birth in 2006.
